The diploma program will allow one to know the basic accounting techniques and computer programs used in accounting.  An accounting assistant must have good mathematical and communication skills.  One must also have a background record keeping and document/file maintenance.  Undergoing training programs will help one accurately file documents and information, work on ledgers and type effectively.
