An individual with an eye for detail and good sense of style could make it big as an apparel designer.  An apparel design career involves catering to personal fashion styles.  The apparel designer is tasked to come up with designs for clothes and accessories. How to become an Apparel Designer

To become an apparel designer, one must earn an associate or bachelor’s degree in fashion design. Together with a degree in fashion design, one may also take courses in business, marketing, and merchandising.  Such courses will help one gain the necessary knowledge and skills when one pursues a business or work in the retail industry. Gain practical skills through internships as well.  Skills in communication, organization, customer service, and human relations will help one in pursuing this type of career.
