It is mandatory to have a license to practice as a career counselor in most States.  Licensure is granted after you fulfill certain criteria, which vary from State to State.  Generally, these include a Master’s degree followed by two years of supervised experience.

As a career counselor you would be expected to guide people in their career decisions, by assessing a candidate’s aptitudes, qualifications, experience, interests and goals.  Your duties would include offering a support and guidance system to the candidates as you help them find the right career.

I am Priyantha,and work as a career guidance officer in Department of labour and man pawor and ministry of labour. Now I want to follow career counseling masters degree in USA,UK or Norway . But my English knowladge is fair.Please give me a free chance or scolaships to learn this feild and back serve my country.

now iam doing bsc biotech with combination of bio chem &chem . iam in final year. my financial status is poor. i dont know wat r d other options to do after degree! can u please tell me that wat r the opportunties i have in any field after degree?
