What differentiates Chartered accountants from all the other accountants is that the chartered accounting program is a Graduate Diploma course.  The word Chartered was derived from ‘Royal Charter’ and it was first granted in 1854 to a group of accountants in British Commonwealth Countries and Ireland. If you chose a Chartered Accountant Career, you will be internationally recognized by other accounting bodies, so you will be able to work in most places in the world as an accountant.

How to become a chartered accountant

Be mentored by a member of the Chartered Institute who will be working in the same organization as you.

Chartered accountants can work in all spheres of Finance, Banking, Consultancy, Auditing and Business. Their career path can also lead them to a public or private sector career.
