How to become a Nurse

Becoming a nurse requires both experience and education.  One may start off by becoming a nurse aide or assistant.  This position requires one to just take related coursework to be considered.  This is also a stepping stone to land a nursing program while one gets an opportunity to earn.  The licensed practical nurse (LPN), also known as licensed vocational nurse (LVN), should earn a year of course study and work under a registered nurse or physician.  Having more skills and knowledge than a nurse aide, one has the chance to rise up and become a registered nurse.  To become a registered nurse, one must earn an associate or bachelors degree in nursing.  One can further advance and pursue specializations.  After taking the required courses, one may then secure a license and start his career as a nurse.
