The career of a fish farm manager revolves around breeding and rearing fish to be sold to various types of purchasers.  The responsibilities and duties of a fish farm manager includes managing fish habitat, handles health issues, handles feeding operations, equipment and cage maintenance, and selling.  He is to manage the fish farm operations from feeding, monitoring, breeding, spawning, and grading to harvesting.  He is also in charge of calculating feeds administration, implementing standards, water management and keeping records.  The fish farm manager may be tasked to market and sell the produce as well.  Becoming successful in this type of career requires one to have a formal education and practical experience.  One has to know how to manage people, handle clients, supervise staff and calculate certain feeding requirements.
