The management of an organization’s human resources is run by a team of highly qualified professionals.  Leading the team is the human resources manager.  The human resources manager provides a bridge between the employer and the employees.  His duties and responsibilities cover mainly the needs of the employees.  Depending on the size of the company, the human resources manager does a wide variety of tasks.

His responsibilities cover planning, developing and implementing employment and training programs; managing and handling salary, compensation and benefits; and handling employee evaluations and promotions; providing professional counseling. As a human resources manager, he must take on the lead in handling disputes between labor and management.  The human resources manager makes sure that all labor standards and policies are implemented and followed.  It is a must that a human resources manager has excellent skills in leadership, organization, problem-solving and communication.

An aspiring human resources manager has to earn a bachelor’s degree in human resources management.  Pursue advanced studies and earn a master degree.  Grab the opportunity of an internship to be able to get practical experience.  Gain much experience as a human resource staff or assistant.
