How to become a Pharmacy Assistant

Though a formal training is not a requirement getting into pharmacy assisting training programs in a school will give one an edge in the job market.    Once one had applied for the position an on-the-job training is given.  Training is on-going as long as there are new equipments or items in the pharmacy.  One may need to get certification since there are industries that require pharmacy assistants to be certified.  A pharmacy assistant is also required to undergo drug testing as a policy.  A criminal record check is also done to ensure one’s credibility for the job.

An aspiring dental assistant should take courses in chemistry, math, and english.  Getting courses in business and pharmaceutical-related programs will give one a good start on becoming a dental assistant.  Customer service trainings will further equip the student to become excellent in handling customer queries and solve customer problems.  One must learn, through the trainings available, how to be organized and systematic to be able to succeed as a dental assistant.  Upon getting a certification, he may gain better employment options.
