The recruiter consultant is in charge of attracting, sourcing, and matching potential candidates for various positions within a company. He is able to do this by analyzing and evaluating the needs of the client.  Through this, he is able to strategize and techniques.  The recruiter consultant is tasked to prepare advertisements for job positions, contact potential employees, interview applicants, shortlist prospects, manage and maintain database, do career assessments, and conduct tests.

He is also tasked to prepare and forward the applicants’ CVs and correspondence to the client company or employer. The recruiter consultant also provides his advice on pay rates, training, and career progression. He is also the person to finalize any agreements between the employer and applicant.

How to become a Recruiter Consultant

To become a recruiter consultant, one may earn a degree in any field.  A degree in business, marketing, management, human resource management, or psychology may qualify one for the recruiter consultant career position.  One may pursue graduate studies and earn a master’s degree.  Gain relevant experience in the area of recruitment. Experience should be in line with the industry that one wants to work in.  One must strong skills in communication, organization, analysis, management, marketing, human relations, and negotiation.  Skill in computer applications is also a must.
