How to become a School Nurse

The aspiring school nurse can start by earning an associate or bachelors degree in nursing.  Upon completion of the degree program, one can then take the National Council Licensure Examination or the NCLEX-RN.  Passing this licensure exam helps one become a registered nurse.  Find an employment as a school nurse.  Having a degree, a license and experience as a school nurse makes one eligible to take the school nurse certification exam. The certification exam may be taken while one works as a school nurse.  A certification will give one better employment opportunities and benefits.
