How to become a School Psychologist

To become a school psychologist, one must earn a bachelor’s degree and take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).  The GRE is used to know how much psychological concepts one had acquired.  Passing the GRE will help one gain admission into graduate school.  Pursue a graduate degree in school psychology.  It may be a master’s degree, doctorate or specialist degree. Get into an internship program and gain practical skills required for a school psychologist career.  Complete the requirements of the program and obtain a license and certification.  Certification may be obtained through The National Association of School Psychologists.
