How to become a Sports Trainer

An aspiring sports trainer must have a strong background in sports training.  He must earn a degree in athletic training or any other sport related field.  Get a degree program from an accredited school or institution.  Pursue higher studies and earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in athletic training.  Become a certified sports trainer through a certifying body such as the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers. One may obtain a license as well.  Requirements for certification and licensing vary depending on one’s location.  Gain much experience in athletic or sports training.  It is a must that one takes continuing education courses.  Become updated with the trends and changes in the industry.
