Surgeon assistants need to meet the licensing requirements of the state. The BLS i.e Bureau of Labor Statistics has informed that the people from all states need to complete the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE). This examination is about the Certification of Physician Assistants by the National Commission. Once a candidate passes out this examination it goes to the Physician Assistant-Certified credential. The National Surgical Assistant Association provides a Certified Surgical Assistant diploma that also needs a qualifying score on the certificate examination.
