There are no separate bachelor programs in taxation and the BA or BS in accounting or finance will suffice the educational requirements.

A BS degree in accounts or finance can be followed up with a CPA exam, which will help in furthering tax adviser career. Some organizations also require a total of UCAS points (Grade E or 40 points to Grade A or 140 points), which will depend entirely on the subjects opted for during a BS degree. Aspiring tax advisers can also take the CTA (chartered tax adviser) examination by qualifying for enrollment in The Association of Taxation Technicians.
