A transaction analyst takes on various tasks and responsibilities within the company.  He is to take care of various areas such as targeting acquisitions, screening targets, communicating and collaborating with sellers, manipulate data, making business deals, monitor any issue or problem, and analyzing pertinent company data.  He is to handle the analysis of financial trends, liabilities and risks, and capital. He is to prepare the necessary reports required based on the analysis he had made.  Should there be any issues or problems encountered, the transaction analyst is to provide the necessary solution.This career position requires one to gain background in finance.

How to become a Transaction Analyst

To become a transaction analyst, one must earn a bachelor’s degree in finance or any other related field.  Some employers prefer individuals who had earned an MBA.  Depending on the industry, one must gain relevant work experience as well as an understanding of certain terminologies.  One must have advanced skills in computer use and its applications. Strong skills in communication, organization, analysis, management, customer service, and human relations are also required.  With this type of career position, one must be able to multitask and manage the time.
