The welder fabricator plays a very important role in the construction and manufacturing industry.  The tasks of a welder fabricator includefabrication, positioning, aligning, and fitting of structural metal products.  He is also tasked to design and construct fixtures as well as templates. A welder fabricator uses blueprints and layout specifications as a work guide.  He makes sure that these specifications are followed.

To become a welder fabricator, one must earn an associate degree in welding.  One may take a degree in various vocational schools or community colleges.  Gain relevant experience as well.Though certification is not required, having a certification will prove one’s competence.  One may obtain certification through the American Welding Society.  Taking their course program and passing their exam makes one eligible for becoming a certified welder fabricator.  One must also be skilled in communication, problem solving, analysis, and human relations.
